spammy bastard..yada yada yada...

those who know me know that I like working on two or three
and sometimes more tracks at once..some times they become
trilogies etc..sometime totally unrelated...

this is an instance of the later though the mood and
structures are similar to lippyglip also on the same
site....

new track called

Lapel

at

http://www.zebox.com/pop

feedback appreciated as always..

awsome as usual. I prefer when chaotic things aren't put
into loopish forms though. and when they go on too long.
really, it said what it said in 1/6th the time... though
what it said was awesome

I got a dreamcast on ebay and 10 games for about 150
dollars... since the system's "dead"... I think I'll go play
mdk2 or marvel vs. capcom 2 (strategy is kinda gone from
genesis version but it's still fun)

I mailed a "demo" to schematic. I predict no response but it
should arrive in a few days there.

thanks wMw.. on POP I am trying to bring a kind of..um..a
backbone and a stability to my usual chaotic
structures...something you can nod your head to so to
speak...

I have always wanted marvel vs capcom you lucky sod..play a
few games for me...

demo..wow..which songs did you use..tell me all about it..

Flea, when you come online and read this I want you to know
that your latest is the best track yet I've heard from this
community. Most of the stuff people post here is passable
(part of it is just crap, of course), but this one really
sticks out and wouldn't be out of place on a label such as
Tigerbeat6 or Rephlex methinks.

Bump it up for Flea!!! This music should be downloaded and
listened to, boys and girls. You don't know what you're
missing.

flea: did you know lapel is pronounced like the dutch word
for spoon? yeah i bet you did!

anyways. these tracks are special as ever. i'm starting to
enjoy this little side project of yours :)

lapel: somehow my head starts swaying back and forth while
listening to it. no coincidence, of course :D

hope is a gash: yeah mate you keep telling me it's
fruitloops. i don't believe it anymore :P i'm gonna throw
these on my minidisc i tell ya. awesome

thanks Ctrl Alt Delete

plug ins..and tone generators then processed through
plugins...my current favourite is Caotica..it's a math based
synthesis/processing freeware...

thanks Netlon Sentinel..:)

no I didnt know about thedutch meaning:0 a happy
coincidence:)..I meant lapel as a coat's lapel...

if it got yer head bobbing I am a happy man..yeah baaaby
yeah(sorry AustinPowersoverload there:))

Hope is a Gash: honest it's all within Fruity
Loops..the..bass..and melody parts are all made of a
FenderBass sample reversed and then fed into the grainulizer
and then each one modulated to a different frequency/delay
level...I think Hope is a Gash is the truest
drill/drum'n'bass song I have made because there's nothing
but drums and bass on it:)

cheers for theawesome reviews :)

OK...

Lapel: Nice vibe... kinda Gantz Grafish (although that's not
a bad thing) - some great samples, I was makin faces along
with it, gurning like a fool! The ending was especially
great.

Hope Is A Gash: Almost Ziggomatic at the start... nice
underlying feeling of menace to it. Could be a soundtrack to
a violent fight scene, Matrix/X Men stylee... I like the
gaps, the way it takes a breather, makes you wait for a
fresh attack. Maybe slightly overlong, my only complaint.

Lippyglip: Probably my least favourite of the three - some
nice sounds in it but it would work better as an interlude
for me (maybe it is, who am I to say!). Obviously it's not
meant to be 'Flim' or anything like that but it's a little
too dull for me. I think you should tone down the harsh
"euurrrghhh" noises and bump up the smooth melodies. I think
with a more regular beat to it (another pfs remix, maybe?)
it would be more to my tastes =o)

thanks for the reviews Jar...sorry I forgot to mention the
Autes on my list but everything post LP5 is huge inspiration
currently :)Gantz Graf especially has driven me round the
bend :)

Lippyglip..I agree..some of those exploding crockery parts
could be turned down..qrter is making a remix of it..I
think..let's see how it turns out:)..

cheers:)

Lapel: Whoa. The sounds are very digital and organic at the
same time. So far this track, Astral Rejection and
Butterflies in my head (good title btw) are my favorites of
the P.O.P. experience :)

room for new stuff...:(

Yeah, that is a bummer :(

I like chilling out to Astral though. It's quite nice. Makes
me think of moths crowding around porch lights.

Moths are just the hippies of bugs, eh?

whoah..that's uncanny...because Astral was originally
inspired by a moody blurred blue tinted image of a
porchlight in Twilight on Xanpha (Teapot's) website...
