I dunno, it's a very aggressive yet melodic album. As a whole, it has a really unique sound, and almost every track sounds different than the others. |

my fave track changes everyday on ICBYD. when i first got it, 'ventolin' was my fave, that's just mando'. i had to think of the album w/o it's stand alone track and figured 'start as you mean to go on' would be my new fave on there. through the course of my faithful devotion to RDJ, listening back now, i think the most beautiful track is 'mookid'! |

in addition: DRUKQS, imho, is like an updated and revised version of ICBYD. the other day i made a mix of drukqs for my friend who i have slowly turned into an aphex fan (although he has yet to fully realize RDJ's superiority over any, every and all things). it was something i had been wanting to do since i got the double disc. burn one cd of just the hard-n-heavy tracks. to keep it in classic RDJ mode, i put in the random blurps and short excerpts of his recording of people. my friend doesn't like SAW VII, which i will admit i didn't at first either but it just takes time and maybe he needed to be eased into it so i left the really good ambience track in as well, so he could get used to it and maybe it would affect his taste in that area of music. 1. 54 cymru beats 2. vordhosbn 3. lornaderek 4. omgyjya-switch 7 5. meltphace 6 6. bit 4 7. prep gwarlek 36 8. gwely mernans 9. bbdhyonchord 10. cock/ver 10 11. taking control 12. mt. saint michel + saint michaels mount 13. orban eq trx 4 14. aussois 15. afx 237 v.7 16. ziggomatic 17 that, imho, is like the perfect DRUKQS album right there, not to knock any of the other tracks, some of those are some of his best work, yet sadly some are.... i want to make another mix with slightly dif. trax. i want to include 2 remixes by afx. 1. 120 BPM 2. vordhosbn 3. omgyjya-switch 7 4. cock/ver 10 5. mt. saint michel mix + saint michaels mount 6. 54 cymru beats 7. 168 BPM 8. meltphace 6 9. taking control 10. afx 237 v.7 11. ziggomatic 17 one day.... |

ICCT Hedral is my fav from that CD. I started to remake the old Pitfall game in a package I had and the music for it was all taken from ICBYD. |
