Yes, that movie is very very sad from what I've heard. I
really need to buy that, and End of Evangelion.

Thanks for reminding me.

lol, no the box set is 6 I believe. Then they released
Death and Rebirth which is part of an alternate ending to
the series, since the last 2 eps. didn't make much sense at
all. And finally End of Evangelion is the 2nd part of that
ending.

It might not make sense what I just said, lol, but you'll
understand. And get the Eva boxset. I can honestly say it
is probably my favorite anime series ever.

Haven't seen totoro, don't really care to at the moment.

Though, I want to see Spirited Away so badly. I think an
artsy theater downtown has it.

Anyway, keep your eye open for that one...trust me.

Yeah, Mononoke is awesome. Damn right, we need more anime
in theaters!

That and videogame music should be more accepted.

grave of the fireflies is excellent. anyone here seen
Perfect Blue? nothing along the lines of GOTF, but a great
psychological anime.

Just watched it. That was really good actually. Kinda
confusing between the two different parts...it seemed like
flashbacks but Im not sure. Thats anime for you lol. I
wont' say the rest of my thoughts actually cause that'll
bring up key parts of the movie.

i recommend it

It's not an alternate ending. I had this explained right
after I watched it.

They are the same ending; but the TV ending is what goes on
in Shinji's mind where the films are what goes on in the
physical world, considering the endings are really the same.
Watch carefully, and check animeboards.com for answers to
confusion.
