im not a pro graphic designer ive gotten lots of good advice on if things look too photoshoped... things i wouldnt have noticed. sometimes its good to ask people there thoughts, cause you yourself are too subjective |

I'd agree with that. The first one's a bit gaudy, the second one's a bit drab and the third is slightly too bright. That basically sounds like I'm impossible to please but I'd say go with something plain. |

but isn't that the point of being creative - you're allowed to indulge yourself, in other words, you are allowed to be 'too subjective'..? anyway, theres nothing wrong with not being a pro graphic designer - thing is, your designs look like they're trying to emulate a pro graphic designers.. ehm... designs. I still think you should make it simpler. it just fits into all the cliched ways people think about when thinking of "idm" (exactly the same with all these horrible made-up words people use for titles..) |

tits: yeah, cause they didnt invent the term... plenty of albums/songs have the same names i just dont want some typical minimal design IDM cover... like autechre or something i just want something that looks good, and reflects how i visualize my music and i think "suck ass" is a bit much let me see you attempt a cover |

ugh things backwards is even worse! i wish i didn't know that was where the name came from. i know you're on the defensive in this thread but don't insult my intelligence (re: coil not making up the term). i was just asking a simple question. lots of artists decide not to use album names when they find out someone else has in recent memory already used it. and like you said, lots of artists also decide to keep it. |

the third one ownz the other two. i just dont like the color use for it. show lots of mushrooms. maybe if you get some people in they can put magic mushroom powder within the paper so when people buy it they can take it home, 'scratch and sniff' and get high off your music. if not that, change it to something more simpler d00d. |

Go for the first or the third one. Trash the second one. I like the pretty mushrooms in the first, and the third has a very clean, pure look. |
