One of my mates has a load of records like Kool & the gang
and hendrix so I may have to steal his :)

I always root through middle aged people's records at car
boot sales in the hope they'll have some old classic, but
alas I've never seen anything I've wanted...

I got a mint 12" of Kurtis Blow's hip hop classic 'The
Breaks' for pence in a Sally Army shop in Penarth. I love
those shops and the old dears who run 'em.

clean in a circular fashion, otherwise you'll scratch the
vinyl

clean cds from the inside out (i.e. perpendicular to vinyl)

The oxfam shop in Bristol only has 80s rock music for some
bizarre reaon. Lots of it though...

Also, like with vinyl, it's important to clean CDs in a
circular motion radially out from the center, to follow
along with the data tracks and reduce microscratches which
can cause errors.

okay how about a scratch that is going across a few tracks
that occasionally lets the needle jump tracks, anything I
can do to minimise the impact of the scratch?
