I saw them after Aenema came out. I think I spelled that
wrong...Haven't made to any concerts this year...

Nope.

But I was wondering, and I guess I'll ask here rather than
starting a new topic...

Am I the only person that prefers older Tool (Opiate and
Undertow) over Aenima and Lateralus?

I prefer the older stuff, though I do like
Aenima...Lateralus is my least favorite...

a live dvd of this tour would be the shit. I'm now really
noticing how great their sound is. I always thought they
were just some 90's, advant guard, post industrial, rock
band. and i thought that sound was so stero-typical that i
never looked into their sound. and i can easly say, that
after seeing their tour, that i've missed many great tracks,
and moments of some trippy contemplation.

needless to say it was my first tool concert. i crowd surfed
during my favorite part of my favorite song. (the "learn to
swim" reprise on aenima.) it'd be cool to see myself on a
quick clip of that dvd.

btw, what's the word on tapeworm?

I felt the same way about them till a few months ago... I
lumped them in with the wrong bands and ignored them when
really they probably would have been my favorite band EVER
if I was into them in my junior high/high school years.
Aggghhh, mistakes mistakes mistakes.

I caught them when they came to boise and let me say that
they are one of the best fucking live acts ever... Their
stage production, music, visual accompaniement is all top
notch shit! not to mention the monstrosity of sound that is
meshuggah! they rocked an equal amount of sox
