Wow......very nice remix! *is impressed* however i'm not surprised as i like your stuff. i've heard some flea music recently as well.....my BF sent it to me since i can't d/l off some sites. it's good stuff.....you two should do more stuff together! keep up the music making!! |

well Paul, listened to your remix - I think its great! the best way to describe it is to say its so much fun to listen to. its upbeat, but not in an irritating, techno-y 'waving your hands in the air"-kind of way. love the bassloop - kind of hypnotizing, especially with the small percussive sounds. I would drop the bassdrum though. thats kind of cheesy. thats me done :) |

hey can I remix a track of yours? I can't remember if you use Fruityloops? Flea sent me a FLoops file and some small wav. files -- that way worked really well :) do you use soulseek? I can't remember :) |

yeah, you can remix something of mine, sure! I don't use floops.. thinking about it, it could be kind of hard, as I do use wav. files, but I constantly switch between cubase and soundforge.. which track would you like to do? |

mm.. have to dig into my backups.. I think thats mostly prefabricated samples.. I could upload them on a friends website. don't know when I'll have the time to do that. I'll mail you, to make some further arrangements. I'm doing my first mini-live thing tomorrow - with a friend. we're going to play for 30 minutes in a kind of jazz club.. ha ha.. |

yeah.. we've been practicing for months now. I take my notebook over to his house, we connect up and just improvise for at least an hour. I've got 8 hours of improvisations on disc (of which quite a large bit is good..).. :) so thats what we'll be doing tomorrow too. I should start cleaning up my computer and start choosing samples.. |
