I really have a problem buying anything from those guys. The
amount of piss taking going on and arrogance is starting to
put me off and fuck me off.

I've talked to V/VM before. He was cool and open as long as
I didn't probe too much. It's playful.

I went to this V/VM supposedly 'live show'. Too late when I
realized that was 2 pig-dressed guys sending roses in the
crowd and singing in play-back some distorded versions of
Queen - show must go on or Scorpion - wind of change. They
were just jumping around, sending flowers and launching new
MP3s. Really disappointing.

I don't thing that mu-people are so arrogant. People put so
much expectations into vsnares - take him for a half-god...

Yeah, with V/Vm it's a bit more open. It's less snyde, you
accept it as part of his "image". You know when you buy a
release it'll be a silly piss take.

Mike P just comes over as a prat. No one who buys music from
his label deserves that kind of treatment.

As long as he's putting out good music...
Do you feel being abused when you buy a mu release ?

I have a few mu CD's but all i'm saying is Mike P has too
much venom . He needs to chill, his views on MP3s are your
typical EMI views for one. I ain't spoke to the guy in
person so it's not for me to judge at all! If you like how
things are done then great. I'm not here to stop you but to
voice how I see things.

What record label fulfill your requirements ? Do you mean
that Warp or Rephlex have a different attitude toward you ?
Don't forget this is all about making money / building the
hype.

Dude, your missing the point and preaching to the wrong guy.
Aphex twin understands mp3's and Mike P don't. Warp don't
blubber when their sales are down Mike P does. Rich mocks
people who interviews him Mike P spits venom. This added up
means that I do not personally like Mike P but if I had the
chance to talk to him in person I may see the other side.
It's not for me to Judge. If you like them then thats great
but you stand about as much chance as changing my opinion as
you do mine so it's pretty pointless defending him to one
dragon who is happy to buy anything he likes from anyone. It
would be easy for me to download anything from Mu but I buy
the records. Mike P don't cut it with me, Rephlex does. It
depends on the person.

*shrugs and swishes his tail*

I meant to say I have as much chance as changing your
opinion as you do mine. Typing quick cuz i'm at work.

I was talking about music not about the way people behave
during interviews or their ability to understand the futur
issues of P2P sharing and digital music industry. IMFO both
RDJ or Mike P are assholes but I still buy their music
because I find it great, entertaining, inspiring ( with a
spliff :) and for many other reasons. I would not spend my
holydays with either of those two guys or any other IDM
superstar ; they are way too elitist and maybe
4_releases_in_a_row_vsnares_is_ze_most_mindblowing_crazy_mo
self-sufficient. And to go back the
therfucker_you've_ever_seen_get_prepared_for_nighmare joke ;
I thought it was true first and I had the above mentioned
reaction (that Mike P expected me to have cause I'm just a
stupid fan) and latter I learnt it was just bullshit. I was
amused and never felt abused in the faintest way. Chill out
- it's just about music

No one can chill more then a dragon. Just slow your body
down and drift off.

I hear what you say. That works for you but not me, so it's
pointless telling me. As I said before it's all good so no
matter.

back to the topic - vsnares will have a single on hymen
apparently clocking 20 minutes long. That's for sure a good
news - can't wait to see him live in Paris next week with
Fanny (thx to map for the links).

I'm confused. You surely extract the information from the
mu-board. Would you please post a link to the relevant
thread.
