Well, it goes kinda like this:
I just left my job and g/f to be with my daughter for 3 months, as you've guessed, my ex and I went ka-put a while back. but my daughter means the world to me... my ex and I are trying to mend things up again.
I feel now that my ex is really just half-assed about "us" and never really makes me feel that "love" feeling that I need so much. Always saying "oh i love you" but never really showing it.
However, my g/f (now ex) always gave me that feeling of love and self-worth... were best of friends and very close still. I think she partially understands my responsibility as a father and urge to raise my daughter...
what would you chose?

Does your (now ex) gf live nearby? There's always the poss. of getting back with her and having joint custody of your daughter...

A relationship without love isn't good for anyone... if your ex gf loves you, and you her, you should be together.
Your daughter will be happier if she sees that you are happy... whether that is with her mum or someone else.

kinda in ur situation here. all I can say is that if ur exwife behaves like that (so does mine) u will get depressed, ur selfesteem will drop down, u will feel alone, and love will not come by surprise. I'm thinkin of stop the "mend things up" task, as far as I know it's not workin. a petty.
at least I don't have a daughter...

I'm 18 years old... so I'd choose the girl.
...cause I have like..... NO experience with fatherhood... but your kid "needs" you I guess....
Good heavens... I'm glad I'm not in that situation. :-S
I'm sorry if I'm absolutly no help at all :-/
