actually, tonepu5hers list thing, just reminded me - the scary thing is - medicine currently operates like this. The DSM-IV .. its fucken frightening to see how narrowminded their approach is, especially with the amount of authority they have .. beyond ones control :) |

korben - the DSM-IV is only used as a basic guide. also taken into consideration is the patients view and the doctors view. also having said that, its pretty accurate, and can be very helpful in pinpointing certain aspects of personality which need to be addressed. if you've not seen how it works, you'd be surprised how clever it analyses certain characteristics. it's far more complex than some daft internet personality test. |
