Hawtin & Vath - review

The DJ performances of both Richie Hawtin & Sven Vath this
past weekend, were very diappointing.
This was the worst I've ever heard from Richie. They both
lacked in the track department, nothing hard, dark, minimal,
or particularily interesting. Richie did bring in 1
excellent classic hard track in, but took it out quickly, as
the crowd didn't really respond to/recognise it. And there
were a couple trainwrecks. He was without his signature
spectacles (wonder if that had anything to do with it ;)),
and wore an uncharacteristic sleeveless top. Spending too
much time in Ibiza, mate? What's next, a cowboy hat?

Sven was a bit tighter, but was in the same boat regarding
tracks. At least Mr.Vath interacted with the crowd a fair
amount. They were both obviously tipsy, on the bottles of
Dom that Richie had written into his contract.

Has Richie changed?

I REALLY respected those guys, I had a very optimistic
mindset upon entering, but the music spoke volumes ;)

Adam Beyer is shit now? What's the world coming to?

although adam beyer could have been much better if the audio
equipment in the party would have been better. i felt like
my ears were going to bleed.
