Ok...I know I'm being very unpatient, though I've such a
long time, the WATMM site just doesn't seem to update
anything but news and the Autechre section still isn't up.
Now Xltronic, this has been hyped a lot and I am very
excited about this but I thought it wasn't going to take
much longer than 2 weeks to get everything set up. Can
someone give me a progress report on these 2 sites. Thanks.

I remember someone telling me xltronic would be ready in
July. its been a while since then and nothing new. im
wondering the same thing as well.

It was supposed to be ready in July but I think I heard that
Phobias computer broke down for like 2 weeks but I think its
been well over 2 weeks since his computer was fixed so I
don't really understand why its not up yet. I obviously
don't mean this in a way to upset Phobia I am just very
anxious for this site to be up.

There's just a hell of a lot of work to do when lauching a
new site and none of us are working on it fulltime...

so basically it'll be ready when it's ready and yeah, it'll
be worth waiting for, don't you worry....

Patience is a virtue...:)..

Heh...alright thanks. I really do appreciate how much time
it seems as though so many people are putting into making
this site...I am expecting it to be amazing.

We are doing lots of behind the scenes work...expect things
to start appearing very quickly in the coming weeks
(including the AE section; there's been a reason for it's
delay)

can anybody drop any hints if there will be developments of
the MB in terms of functionality or will it be more like
porting this existing one onto xltronic?

Xltronic was supposed to be launched in August, not July. My
computer crasched and my internet connections has been down
since mid-July. I can only connect from work and I prefre to
not sit here at nights.

It's a huge site, so it will take some time to put the stuff
together. Besides, we won't release the site until it's 100%
useable.

As for the MB... Yes, it will be enhanced as well.

great stuff phobia, I really like your attitude regarding
%100 useability,

Xltronic sounds very promising indeed

even for artists that the site doesn't necessarily
concentrate on, like the ones i mentioned? i would assume
you have certain priorities, eg: AFX, BOC, Ae, A+E, Jega,
Bola...

About 135 artists has been included in the discography so
far, so there might be a tiny chance....

Just curious as to input and output...Do some artists know
about these developments? Do they help?...

Do they care? :.\

Some artists have promised to help out, like Autechre and
The Black Dog...

can you ask sean for the videos for eutow and sound engine?

...but some artists does not care about their fansites.
That's one of the reasons why I decided to shut down
aphextwin.nu and autechre.nu, although Sean from Autechre
appreciated autechre.nu... but I found out that too late.

A few artists are sneaking around on the MB as well -
anonymously of course.

yea but they keep leaving. you have my sympathy tho, i know
i'd hate it if i put all this time and effort into making an
amazing AFX site and he didn't give a shit. i think you're
doing the right thing w/ xltronic.

You have to come here before you can leave.

As for xltronic.com I'm pretty sure we'll see even more
artists sneaking around using weird aliases.

i have to come here before i leave......?!

i hope on xltronic some of the artists aren't so secretive.
i dunno why mike p. used/uses this board strictly under
alias when he's under his own name on planet mu and everyone
can get his email address.
