I dont know, but as I said in the other thread, I beleive he
is making most of his Money from DJ Gigs.
He doesnt have to be Ultra Rich, if he can live off his
savings, I guess its all good

I hear he's funding a crack unit of Guerillas in the heart
of America, trying to topple any fascist dictatorships in
the US.

Good luck to him I say.

ok, so if (for example, let's say) drukqs sold 300,000
copies, how much would he earn persoally from that? 1 pound
a copy maybe? still a lot of money

Maybe he is. Lots of people have been labouring under the
impression that Jesus was white (and the KKK crack me up,
cos they claim to be christian, yet their "saviour" wouldn't
be allowed into their organization, and would probably be a
target)

drukqs sold nowhere near 300,000 copies...

He is by far the most succesful within his field.
He headlined Reading's Dance venue!

In my opinion he deserves it.

He has a field? Does Earthleakage feed there? I have a
field, but it's not very successful - all I have are some
turnips and a lame donkey. No, I DON'T have any rhubarb

76, but 5 people returned their copies after realising they
had bought CD's and not crack cocaine.

i doubt he makes much all that much from his records,
especially in the last five years.... i thought he made the
money to live off of from was "DJ" appearances at festivals
and some nice cheques from selling his tracks for
promotional use.... in terms of the actual music business,
Richard has been a stubborn idiot, he could have done so
much more with little effort and made some easy
money........ why does everybody make such a big fucking
deal over money with RDJ... hell, if someone PAID you to go
to a party to dick around, you would take the money too....

he makes money off of DJ appearences and remixes. his host
of pseudonyms probably helps matters, as well as the
occasional advert.
i don't think his albums are raking in the cash, seeing as
Sire supposedly cancelled all ambient projects after SAW2
bombed. His other albums probably sold much better, but his
main income is from alternative methods.

Just a bit of curiousity about what earthleakage posted way
up the page - is that about right, that an artist makes
around a pound on each album copy sold? I've always
wondered about that.
