argentinians beat them
and i think is world championship

now both favourites of the championship US and yugoslavia,
are out of the battle for the first position

that is cool, but the rest of the world has increasingly
been giving the us mroe and more of a challenge recently...
because lots of foreign teams have numourous NBA players
themselves, so they can compete against the us now...

the thing is us team plays for entertaining ppl, while all
the other teams compete
and us team is not composed of team players, but of great
individuals

I haven't seen it, I had to sleep, and I'm not a big fan of
organised sports as you might know. But we weren't the first
team to beatthe US. Russians beat them in semi-finals at the
latest world championship in '98 and we beat russians in the
finals.

i'm pretty sure, i read that US lost to argentina, was their
first defeat since nba players were allowed to play

which is kind of weird since yugoslavia was world champion

Yes, in 98 it was a lock-out so the dream team was made up
of college playas.
