No, Detroit techno. I think they are a group, not just one guy. I think they are part of the Underground Resistance 'scene'.

Drexciya are detroit techno but with a hard electro edge...hence the recent interest in em (they've been around releasing stuff for yrs & yrs...)....
Was reading an interview with James this morning...in the current Grooves...FUCK!! that's bad news if it's true...

I had this AMAZING track by them on a React compilation called Detroit People or something. But the tape got stolen (in my car) and I forget the track's name. Shit! I wish I knew what it was.
