I know there are a few DC fans here... does anyone know
what happens when you run NTSC games on a PAL tv/dc using a
boot disc?

Envelopes, frame skipping etc.

Thanks :)

I run NTSC games on my PAL tv on my DC all the time...

You just have to adjust that... Horizontal hold thing on
your telly to stop the picture rolling madly.

Horizontal hold? What's that? Is it only on ultra modern
TVs?

Ultra modern?

Has somebody bought a new telly? :D

No there isnt a Horizontal hold on new TVs. It'll just
'Bling' set it automaticlly.

Ha ha, Cheers.

No my TV is about 4 years old, I was just worried I wouldn't
have a TV that could do it.

Thanks for the advice.

If my order works out do you want the URL of a reliable DC
backup dealer?

I've told them that I know a few other people that'd be
interested if they come through with my order. If it does
arrive I'll put the URL here and act as a reference for any
.nu ers interested...

They did come and he even threw in a few extra as the P&P
was cheaper than expected :)

I know, that's what I thought.

Ah yeah princo, he's prepared to ship to aus. provided you
pay p&p (he's very reliable and generous, def. not a rip off
artist). I'm putting a second order in today!

UFC for the dreamcast is soooo cool. Certainly the most
relaistic fighting game I've played.

*adds to favourites*

btw, did I tell you I've been running NES+SNES emulators on
my Dreamcast?

NES works perfectly... SNES, sometimes it helps to turn the
sound off... (playing some music along with it is always a
good idea ;-) )

I want a GP32, fully working handheld SNES emulator freely
DL-able!
I use my PC for emulation, but I'm considering getting a
software MP3 player/vcd player for my DC.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is such a mad OTT game and sega rally 2
is a lot more deep than I remember :)

copier in his porch...

Besides, I need to save £ to keep my car on the road!
