how sad was his performance at the VMA's? his voice is
gone, the band is decent but he can't sing anymore. yesch,
go out with some diggnity man.

i heard his voice was as good as ever but he had some
stamina problems running around stage. i'm glad they're
back, axl's fun. i also like his band - i love primus, nin,
and buckethead.

i like axl's wig. That's worth the entry fee alone

axl is indeed quite goofy now. seeing "gnr" now would only
be worth it for what titsworth mentioned; buckethead, robin
finck and brain. those guys are all huge.. especially
bucket. i can't wait to watch him rip slash's solos up live.

i thought the performance was sad. Sure he's got kick arse
people behind him, but his voice is gone, and he's just too
frigin old. have some diggnity damn it....go gracefully...

it was nice to see all the n*sync people look confused when
people that actually "play" their instruments live took
stage. I hate pop

He used to be the young badass, but he's got nothing
anymore... except nostalgia and memories of a faded past.
Faded primadonna, that sad little guy.

Buckethead scares the shit out of me, though... be funny if
he took his mask off and he was Slash.

Slash on STILTS... isn't Buckethead an enormous freak? Only
adds to his scaryness...

i was a big fan when i was 12.
i still love the early stuff on appetite for destruction.
Have you guys seen the performance back in 88 or was it 89?
well, they played welcome to the jungle back then as well
but that was ten times better than this. my god. i heard
that he have these hair inplants on his head.
and his voice. terrible!!!
axl! please call duff & slash. you really suck nowdays!

they say buckethead is 'brian carroll' but i think it's
really slash.

slash was denied entrance to a las vegas new year's eve GNR
show that buckethead performed in, so i'd say that's a
pretty unlikely theory.

Buckethead is way taller and skinnier than Slash too... he
is Buckethead and no one else (I think)

i think he asn't lost it, when i was @ pukkelpop they did
the last show on the main stage, we were not there but in
the second camping some 500-600 m from there and inside the
tent we coiuld hear he was rocking, we could recognize the
words an all and the voice was fgreat...

hmm, if i remember correctly wasn't Moby hired to help
produce the new GNR when they were trying to figure out what
to do with them? I think i have the spin article
somewhere....

anyway how gay would that sound?

Who is this Buckethead? Is he serious?

He's a guitarist who has played in bands like Praxis (with
Bootsy Collins), Giant Robot, Cobra Strike, and The Cornbugs
and has several solo albums under his belt. He is very much
serious and he is an incredible guitarist with a huge range
(compare "Monsters & Robots" to "Colma" to "Somewhere Over
The Slaughterhouse" and you will see what I mean).

He is my God, I worship Him.

A young looking guy...really sang loud...thrashed the drums
and his guitar after he was done singing and nearly stumbled
the poor guy. anyone know? what a goof..
