I noticed the "pc laptop" thread down there. Someone
mentioned they spotted Aphex on PC. Does anyone know what PC
software he or squarepusher use (?), if they do use PC.

I've read in several interviews with him that he actually
writes his own software for music creation.

He supposedly wrote a software program called GEEK. i don't
know if he made this up or not, but it was mentioned in an
interview. he does use recycle and cubase.

i wouldnt be surprised if he did. he builds his own synths
too, doesnt he?

thats most likely only partially true. he probably modified
existing roland synths. the press needed a boy genius to go
with the growing electronica scene, and so they most likely
blew the story up.
Who knows though?
