Yes he is.

From your question, it seems that you think he's a musician.
He's actually a comedy writer/performer. The 'Blue Jam'
album on Warp is just a compilation of sketches

Then again, maybe you already know that he's a comedian (my
assumption that you don't is based mainly on the fact that
you're not from the UK). But I suggest, if you're
considering buying the Blue Jam CD as an "introduction" to
Morris's work, that you only do so if you're a fan of "dark"
(ugh, hate that term in this context) comedy. Otherwise get
a copy of the brass eye dvd on import (it's region 2)

Hmmm, I must be one of the only people who found both The
Day Today and Brasseye very hit and miss. Parts where
unbeleivably funny other parts pretentious beyond beleif.

A new CHRIS MORRIS short for WARP FILMS is to be shown at
the LONDON FILM FESTIVAL.

As previously reported, the dance label's venture into film,
Warp Films, were awarded a grant from the National Endowment
for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA). The funds will
be used to make the first batch of short films.

The short from the 'Brasseye' creator is called 'My Wrongs
Nos 8245-8249 and 117', and is based on the story of "a man
who no longer uses his name because he's decided he's ceased
to deserve one, and a dog called Rothko", according to the
Warp website.

The film will premiere as part of the London Film Festival
on November 14-15. It is thought that the film will be
released on DVD next year.
