its is most certainly a brilliant album.. . very hard to
compare Rotor+ to other artists.. . Oval is similar only in
its sounds I suppose, its less musical or rather less
obviously musical than Rotor+ but very good. ..

ahh.. .

try to rococo rot
they're of a similar vein..

maybe bauri

but rotor+ is one of those strangely unique artists thats
hard to find a comparison to

i hope he/they/she come up with a follow up to aileron...
though it wouldnt surprise me in the least if he turned out
to be one of those hit and run artists... releasing one awe
inspiring album and then disappearing

its a him. layton or something like that .. he's apparently
got a contract to do a soundtrack (dunno what movie tho) ..
he's also done remixes of other nz stuff here and there (he
also does stuff under different pseudonyms - different styls
tho). but yeah, good stuff.

shapethrower mailed me a various artists cd with this track
on it, I really like it... it's wickedly subtle fun and
evolves, great melody, great everything.

"Various- Bliss.tech (Pitchcadet)"
(joint release with label aii?)
*just reading what it says.... don't know if pitchcadet is
the label or what.

I just got aileron and heard track one and most of track
two. Even though this is too soon to say much, I'm not blown
away by this so far. It's good, but not as good as I thought
it'd be. sticking lots of mini songs together into one 20
min track seems more annoying than helping the cause of the
album. It's quite ambient.
