His early work with the Birthday Party is brilliant.
One band I always wished I'd seen live.

I've heard a bit from the guy... I've been meaning to hear ''Loverman'', the song Metallica covered on Garage Inc. Interesting song, I've gotta hear his version.

Well that's all good. Ophecs hi :-)} If you are familiar with the Metallica song that has the video of a young boy and an old man in it. Quite a long video eh black and white I think sorry can't be any more specific :-{

I only own 'No More Shall We Part' and haven't really heard much of his other work.. That said, it's one of the best records I own. Beautiful, haunting, and painfully sincere. I was introduced to Nick Cave through David Tibet's(Current 93)album, 'All the Pretty Little Horse' in which he contributes vocals on several tracks.

That would be ''The Unforgiven''... a great video, and I thought it was the greatest thing in the world back in Grade 9. I still think it's pretty damn awesome, screw what the Metallica critics say.

There's a big creepy picture of Mr. Cave in the hall somewhere... I used to hear a lot of him but never develouped a taste for it. Birthday Party was interesting for its originality, but kept making me think of old John Wayne movies for some reason.

The Birthday Party were a mint..a near perfect band..his stuff with Bad Seed has steadily regressed into balladry..he's slowly turning into the next meatloaf..unlike the the next Tom Waits everyone hoped he would mature into..sigh

Never heard of him..
i do know Nick Carter though, i'm ure he's much more popular and artistic
! The latter is a joke and is supposed to be funny. In the future i will always mark my jokes 'cause sometimes they too funny for most of you to understand
! The latter is of course a joke. I never make jokes, and if i make one it's not funny.
! That was a joke of course, just like my birth they told me. I think the second joke is the best and then the first and then the third.. no i'm just kiddin' about that, 'cause that's funny

Ive only heard bits, and I like what Ive heard, Red Right Hand and God Is In The House.
I love the lyrics especially, remind me of some poets like John Betjeman
