Well, he also put out 'Eccentric Objects', more of an ep
than an album though. This is the most exciting news I've
heard in three years! Jack Dangers has always secretly been
my favorite musician... No formulation of superlatives
could describe my feelings towards his genius!

I spy with my little eye
A problem which, in time, will intensify
The government knows your name
So you can rest assured things will never be the same
A phone call in the middle of the night might bring bad
news
But it's your fucking views which are getting abused
The position from the right's always been
If you're wealthy and you know it
Clap your hands on a bowling green
Discolouration of the mental fabric
Ejaculation of waste in the sea
Everybody's got a dark side
Everybody's got something to hide
I'm qualified,
Vanishing people,
vanishing trends
Like
specimens
There's
more than meets the eye.

i am excited...

but i wasnt so happy to see that hes singing on this one

i dont like any of his previous singing attempts, except
that one on ASAV's... and its not one of my fav MBM
tracks...

:s

oh

i cant read

it said that theres much less

phew

good news!

listening to the streamed track now...

i dig it

MBM does hip hop! who would have guessed? hehe

He really is the master of beats imo. Even this simple beat
kicks ass.

tits... this song is a prime example of the hip hop i dig.

Dark, and instrumental. I freaking love stuff like this.

i think this news is worthy of a *bump* for all those MBM
fans out there!

MBM has always been hip-hop tho, since the '80s..

hmmm

eh, i guess. But this song just seems to be like, full out
hip hop.

I dont know... i guess i have a weird/distorted veiw of hip
hop.

I can see what you mean, but in my eyes, its more hip hop
influenced then just hip hop

make sense? ...probably not.. :s

well the music is a lot of things, MBM is difficult to
pigeonhole into a single genre.

is this more DJ Shadow- RJD2 territory? ...sorta?

well anyway Jack dangers was/is a genius, and has always had
a a self-aware hip/hop flavour and self-depreciting
humour... just listen to Storm the studio from 1988 (i
think), and hopefully he is revitalized, he has always had a
great ear and production style.... was very heavily imitated
in the early 90s. i think his latter stuff has always
tended to be over "dub"-by, addicted to that style of bass,
so he seems to be trying a new tack... i'll be looking at
getting this too...

i got it couple of days ago
there's some great tracks on, but not really top exciting
good to listen once in a while, not more than that tho
i cant find anything intriguing about it, it os very
predictable
kind of same stuff like shadows private press only better
