hate Blink 182? how about New Found Glory?

pasted from buddyhead:

Email Mark Hoppus, dorky bass player from Blink 182 at
vikingwizardeyes@yahoo.com, and make sure he knows he’s a
geek. Let him know we’re onto his scam of using his shitty
pop punk band as a tool to whore out his “clothing
company” (which does nothing more than slap the
company’s name in a basic font on the front of black
t-shirts) to the retarded youth of America. He’s gonna
burn in hell for that if there is a hell. Tell him to relay
a little message to that guitar player and drummer with the
stupid haircuts that they’re fruitcakes too and their band
sucks about as bad as a band can suck.

While you’re at it, email the guitar player from New found
Glory, Ian Grushka at and make sure he knows he’ll be
playing music to 15 year old retarded mall girls on the
Warped Tour for the rest of his life if he doesn’t figure
something out quick. Tell him to get that fat bass player on
a diet too.

(that last part was hyperlinked: nachonfg@yahoo.com)

how's the harassment going? surely there are SOME punk

words of advice.

Buddyhead rules. Once they gave out R. Kelly's cellphone #
and his two way pager #, so you could 'hit 'em up 2002
style'.

I wish I could email a deadly virus to them.

Not a computer virus... a full blown flesh eating demon
disease that would make their skin melt off.

can any of you prove they don't write their own music? If
you can't I'll shut up, but I was under the impression they
did.

It's just another form of expression, i mean, I wouldn't
kill a country singer that wrote his own music, i h8 country
music, but why wish ill on people that are into different
things?

Again, if we can figure they don't write their own shit,
then yes, I am all for virus central.

who said they didn't write their own songs?????? they're
just abominations to punk culture, that's the point being
made. don't you a conflict of interest, marketing punk music
to a consumer culture? using it to sell clothing and other
commodities?

i cant believe you feel like that about blink , they are a
great band ( in my opinion).i think they are very talented
,they are up there in my top five fave bands/artists and i
dotn see how u can just slag them down.but i s'pose ur not
into that type of music.
so there ya go
and PLEASE dont think im a stupid lil wanna be punk/grunge
who is mad about slipknot but couldnt ever name one song or
band member etc , cause im not at all , i listen to alot of
different types of music.
i just think blink are great and they dont deserve to be
bombarded with abuse.

dont kill me :)

I think this will be one of those albums that people will
either love or throw in he trash and spit on.

I read that so many times! There always seems to be a record
or a band which you're supposed to either hate or love. I
usually just find those "ok", not particularly great, but
not terrible either ;-) It's such a cliché, and it gets
used far too often!

Bad Astronout is good.

"Houston we have a drinking problem"

lag wagon, fuck I remember them

----------------
old thread anyway, who really cares anyway? They started
out punk, sold out, and became popular.

Sucks ass, but still man, doesn't need to get personal. My
$.02 anyway
