Fuck this band rocks. Does it not? It's the band that
singlehandedly made me buy a guitar, just to fucking rock
the tectonic plates with those earthquake riffs.

And they're not a total dumbass band, they made a (somewhat)
successful leap into ''deeper'' stuff, not just dumb riffs.
But even so, there's nothing dumb about riffs like Ironman
and Symptom of the Universe, those fuckers stole all the
great riffs long before the Nu-metal heads could get their
greasy spiked hair hands on them.

Daaaa
Daaaa
Da da da
Dadadadadadada
Da da daaa

I'm just in nostalgia mode, been listening to all the stuff
I used to like back in junior high/high school. I do this
occasionally, and I get so excited about the rocking out.

I've only heard the Paranoid album and it was way ahead of
its time. They are heavy metal gods of thunder

B/S def. are gods in their own right. I was hooked when i
was 6, i heard ironman and warpigs. They rocked til ozzy
left. IMO their followup singers/songs just didn't quite
have that dark feel to it, totally not attributed to ozzy in
anyway, its kinda like the roger waters/gilmour divide in
pink floyd. seperatly they can't function well, but
together they make awesome music.

*ozzy's solo career is ok too, not to be confused w/ floyd
members*

it was a band as a band, and didn't entirely rely on one
aspect!

that and they all geled togethere!
i can play all their tunes on guit.

Some good BLACK SABBATH albums:

Black Sabbath
Master of Reality
Paranoid
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

Check the dates on these!! 1970? Jesus. Or Satan, rather.

I love 'em!

Fucking great band, very worthy of a bump or three.

BUUUUMMPPPP!!!!!!!!

Ozzy sounded so much better back then... his solo career is
cheesy, except for the Randy Rhoads albums, which just
fucking rock. But not as awesome as Sabbath, no way no how.

If you really like Sabbath that much Ophecks, download
'Thumb' and 'Phototropic' by Kyuss. Try it, go on!

Yeah, Kyuss is SUPER DUPER DELUXE heavy stoner riff metal,
eh, like Master of Reality... think I've heard a bit of
them, not bad at all. I could use some Kyuss...

I once read that when Kurt c. (Ex-Nirvana) started his
group,he wanted it to sound like a cross between B.S and the
Beatles.};.

So, any Sabbath fans?

I'm going through another Sabbath cycle... Ozzy had a nice,
weird voice back then, but something happened to it in the
80's, he lost his magical voice.

I'm listening to Sabbath Bloody Sabbath right now, and it's
pretty creative! They even use cheesy 70's synths, although
to HORRIBLE effect... but it still rocks ass.

Fave Sabbath songs-
Symptom of the Universe
Wicked World
Spiral Architect
Supernaut
A National Acrobat
Never Say Die

And I just heard Heaven and Hell with Ronny James Dio for
the first time... doesn't sound like Sabbath at all, lacks
that badass early 70's sound, but it's surprisingly good.

Sabracadabra is also pretty kick ass, Sabbath attempting to
be sexy, coming off kind of campy and weird, but still
rocking ass. They were born to rock ass.
