Oh man! I just heard a song by Aron?. I can't fucking
compete with that, no, forget it, I don't want to enter.
Please, somebody tell me how to make stuff like that! Or at
least direct me to a GOOD tutorial, and GOOD software. I
really want to acheive something like that!

Okay okay. Look. Read above/below for the info on sending
shit in to the record companies. Richard D. James himself
said to me that he did not want it coming out, to quote him
"Id rather it not come out at all". So go figure. Ill take
your song DJ Fony, and add it to the list. I need more, I

iam mixing and putting this together, then hooking Phobizer0
up with the album via FTP.

Maybe.

The songs have to be good. Im not going to mix the CD with
crappy tracks. Ill be blunt with you people, if it is bad,
then Im not going to put it on the CD. Plain and simple. We
need quality songs, that can represent the community and so
forth. I don't want to sound like more of a jerk than I
already am, but its got to be done.

Sound Assassin: Nope. I chatted with REPHLEX Records, and
WARP records.. and pretty much Aphex Twin himself, and he
DOES NOT want it to be coming out at all. Under the
originial first name, AphexTwin something or other fan
album..... get me? So its got a new name now. It MAY be
relaesed.. but I don't really want it to be. If you wanted
an actual burned copy I would do it, for the money of
course. But you could download the album From this site.

Rephlex etc. Really I just want to get signed by them!! And

Sound Assassin: If you REALLY want I can ask them to take a
look at it. I mean. it would be like.... er... I dunno it
would be really difficult because I went through the trouble
of talking to people at REPHLEX, WARP and the Aphex Twin
about it. And he, himself didnt wat it to be released. Now..
thats under the original name that had to do with him. If I
purposed something totally different, what would it be? What
would it be called? How would I do it? Remember, it has to
be me that emails them and asks. But... discuss.

R3FL3X - I understand Rich don't want it with that name, IF
the music is purely original stuff (i.e. no remixes), then
it shouldn't have anything to do with him! We should have
some name suggestions put them in a pole and see which one
is liked the most (for the title of the compilation).
Obviously each artist should be given credit for his/her own
song, maybe also contact details etc...Maybe the songs
should be voted for? If the project wants to be taken
seriously by us phuqeds and Rephlex etc... we should firstly
think about increasing the deadline! The deadline should be
for tracks, name for the compilation etc... to be sent in.
Then the voting can be done, send the best or maybe
collaborate with Rephlex see what they think of the trax
i.e. awesome or shite.

Just a suggestion!

This is a great idea, although we're taking it a bit too far
now. I doubt Rephlex are just going to suddenly release our
CD just because we told them too.

to be carfeful about selecting the best tracks to submit to
them. If they say NO, then its fair enough, back to the
drawing back. It would have to be awesome for them to front
cash etc... to get it released etc...

If they do say no, then it'll have to remain downloadable
from the site, even thats pretty cool!

Well obviously. Hmm...... its 5:07am here. I need to sleep.
So many things goin on in my life right now. This is a small
thing.... now. But I want to get it done. REPHLEX will most
likely NOT put it out. I could bet on that. I think that it
should be released on this site first.. and maybe have a
second compilation in a few months or something. The name
was chosen by Phobiazero, and its a great name for what we

this whole thing sounds pretty neat.
is this project somehow related to that online community
thing you were talking about last month reflex?
i was thinking it would be even neater if we were to combine
the two ideas...making an mp3.com-like community website
where we could all contribute/download tracks.
because, i mean, mp3.com or ampcast are great and
everything...but they're so big.. its hard to get people to
notice you because of all the different artists/genres
represented. my thought is that a smaller, more specialized
site where everyone who contributes/visits has similar
musical interests would be better.
has someone already presented this idea?...is this kinda
what we're already doing?

much lately.
