orange dust:
I just bought your album finally, audio correction fluid (or
something). It was certainly worth the money. This album is
better than:
lunatic harness
selection 16
I care because you do
early autechre
early aphex

It was probably a tie with about RDJ album and big loada.

If I saw this album on warp or something, it wouldn't seem
out of place.

PS rF - i heard the remix today....its fuckgin wcked
well done man give yourself a pat on the back
i like it a lot coz its got elements from the original but
it varies from it too.....so its not a complete cover or
anything....

also i totally dig the acoustic feel dude.....fuck yeah

rob fragilenine from tafe on 2001-08-06 03:50 [#00019962]

cool, you liked it? yeh i just used some shitty acoustic
bass midi preset and some drums i got off the net... had to
put the whole track through bass expansion first... cos it
sounded shit straight from FT2...

Pleaseee "m....M..Mw )wW(m M m)Ww( wM..M....m" you must be
joking !!!???

Better than ICBYD, Lunatic Harness !!!?!!?

m....M..Mw )wW(m M m)Ww( wM..M....m on 2001-08-06 08:41 [#00020033]

Yes, I honestly think so. Lunatic harness sucks in my
opinion. I guess ICBYD is ok, still audio correction fluid
is better IMO.

It's like, people elevate particular artists Like
aphexamatwin. Is it so hard to believe that unpopular music
composers create genius work too? Though "genius" is so
subjective. ex. shapethrower. This probably a tie (as far as
how much I like it) with any aphex twin material. Then
again, you have to hand it to the guy for his ingenius
compositions on windowlicker and come to daddy. I can see
why his music is generally thought of as superior.
Autechre's newer stuff too. Nobody I know of yet makes music
QUITE this lush and complicated, though they get close. Of
course, this is all my own opinion. But a lot of the other
popular artists: future sound of london, mu-ziq, a lot of
stuff I've listened briefly to mp3's and decided not to buy
(boards of canada, 2 lone swordsman,), the orb, etc. don't
have shit on a lot of the little nobody artists that nobody
knows about. I can't wait for these 4 cds that are coming in
the mail from forcedexposure.com. One was Crunch's "1" cd. I
hear it's supposed to be really, really good. I'll check out
your other stuff too, OD.

arch rival - i know what you mean, but he's entitled to his
opinion.....eheh

m....M..Mw )wW(m M m)Ww( wM..M....m (had to copy+paste that)
- thanks for the kind fuckgin words hey....i dont earn any
money from music so that what i live off!

cheers

Yeah I respect that, thats your taste "
m....M..Mw )wW(m M m)Ww( wM..M....m" and I cant front on
that.

I love some of your tracks Orange Dust but you know who my
favourite artist is "Aphex Twin" and im kinda biased.

But I DONT think you got any "classic" electronic tracks
that is amazing and timeless like Alberto Balsalm, Icct
Hedral, Acrid Avid, Mookid etc that ICBYD had :( (dont want
to be mean, I like your stuff).

Peace

dissolvedpaul from scotland on 2001-08-06 19:13 [#00020136]

Both "Pleth" and "Whistling square waves" by Od are fucking
classic. So yeh he does have "Classic" tracks.:)
And thats all.

Xanatos from NYC on 2001-08-06 19:25 [#00020140]

ARGH! I'm in California for the next few weeks on my
family's stupid 56k modem! Must get back to precious,
precious, cable modem so I can stream od's music (I've never
heard it before.)
Better than ICBYD? I gotta hear this.

Archrival from New York on 2001-08-07 14:16 [#00020265]

the sounds you use sounds kinda lame sometimes (kinda
"amateurish" nah mean).

The sounds RDJ use on ICBYD sound more solid and its sounds
like your cd wasnt even mastered???

You cant compere AFX with OD sorry, but thats my opinion.

Yall better peep OCHRE (better than OD)!!!!! thats some
pretty heavy electronic music!!!

THATS SOME HOT shit!!!

mp3.com/ochre

and mp3.com/mrprojectile (DOPE material.)

Archrival from New York on 2001-08-07 14:17 [#00020266]

Xanatos where ya at!!?

od from perth on 2001-08-08 01:58 [#00020347]

hehehehehehheeh
riots in hysterics

od from perth on 2001-08-08 02:47 [#00020351]

actually i know what you mean

Chilled on 2001-08-08 03:01 [#00020355]

you cant really say ochre is better...cuz theyre different
types of moozik...but od does make mind bending stuff...and
ochre makes the most beautiful symphonic techno since the
early moby days....when he was still good.
