yeah stars of the lid are great..really bleak emotional ambient
you should check out harold budd...and the stuff he did with brian eno...
or lustmord... really minimal and melancholic.. a bit like sotl

I agree with Inverted. I think that 'Tired Sounds of Stars of the Lid' is their best album to date.

They are on tour in the USA at the moment. I'm sure it would be a good show, especially if they have a Kranky labelmate along for the ride.

argh! they came to my city on monday...but the show was 21 plus..(im not 21..)
i hate that venue..it originally opened as an all ages club..but they switched it over to 21 plus..and now all the best concerts come there ..and good shows are hard to come by 'round here
