this article brings up the invevitable in flux of
electronic fans... good and bad. the mis-tacking of dance to
electronic music is horrible. it's interesting to read
through some of the comments by the users... several
mentions of "soulseek" and "trance" and "house" and "ibiza"
all in the same post.

there are quite a few mentions of aphex twin and boc ...what
do think of this exposure for electronic music?

...it's only a little while before it's totally bastardized
in my opinion.

unlikely...it's only when a site gets mentioned in the main
story that sites suffer the slashdot effect...and I haven't
seen a huge amount of guests in the member info box over
there <<<<<

& speedwise, it's been fine for me...haven't noticed any
slowness but haven''t been here that much in last few days
as a bit busy with programming work at mo...:(..

If the post hasn't been modded up, then it's unlikely to get
/.ed

Saw the article too, Paul Oakenfold. Ewwww.

heres a question...

what would your thoughts be if the grammys opened up
catagories for the different types of electronic music?

on one sense id be glad that it was being recognized as a
ligitimate art form...

but on the other hand... I like how it is now...
underground, and not worrying about all that crap.

also... so much has happened in electronic music... how
would they credit all the artists that have come and gone,
but have definatly made huge impacts in the music world?
