It's the only truly good movie to come out of Hollywood in the last 5 years.
A fascinating look at a mid-life crisis in today's dog eat dog world. (And yeah the protagonist becomes obsessed with his daughter's best friend.)
Fan fucking tastic movie.

Well Amonbrune if this is the case I'll not bother I've seen Lolita (Original one) and once was enough.
I can't believe I missed Episode II, Maybe my local UCI is still running it.

He doesnt "do" a 15yr old....he looks at her tits and shit like that but they dont "do" anything....its a good movie-but the only good story is the main chick( her big big tits) and the guy (hes hot)
The movie was good the first 2 times seeing it-other then that, ehhh

American Beauty is wonderful
** WARNING: SPOILERS TO THOSE WHO HAVENT SEEN IT ***
I found the meaning (apart from the whole "my life is crap I'll do something about it" thing) to kind of having a pretty big "gay rights" feeling, I mean, like the end. And Alan Ball (the guy that wrote it is gay) Hmmm...
***END OF POSSIBLE SPOILER**
Very good film, infact it has a few meanings really I guess. I don't know, thats just my take on it :)
