well... he had visited my college before... and I gave him a cd of 3 of my songs. i didnt really get to talk to him then, except for like "hey, if you got time, could you listen to this?" and he said "sure man" but he had to go catch a plane right after... so thats it but at the signing i got to talk to him. I told him that "Preemptive Strike (my first cd of his) was the reason i sold my drums and bought equipment" and he said "oh man" like he didnt want be responsible for me stop playing the drums, but i assured him that it was for the best, and now I right lots of music, and im goin to music school, so he was releived. I told him I gave him a cd a few months back, and he said he has been on the road nonstop, and hasnt had time to listen to anything given to him by fans, but when he gets back home, he said he'd listen, and respond if he had enough time. hes a really cool, down to earth guy. very humble. |

well... it was back before i really heard alot of electronic music... being an IDM fan, you might not appricate it as much as i did, back when I was first getting into electronic music... but that said, its still a GREAT album |

but yeah... hearing this great music... and realising it was just one guy making it... that was really a mind blower for me. here i was trying to start bands and I couldnt even find a guitar player who knew how to play guitar then this comes along... better then all the junky rock i was listening to at the time, and its one man... |

well i wouldnt say im an idm fan as i like practally all types of music,and i already own the private press and the unkle album so i know what to expect. |

I would say thats why i like the aphex twin/squarepusher etc. so much as it is one person doing it all,as well as being incredibly talented. |
