Mm, I just bought this Mix CD by Andrew Weatherall, and a
compilation of Minimalistic Techno tracks, released on Force
inc.

I like this stuff a lot, and I couldnt find similiar music
on other labels "yet"....so, any recomadations ?

yeah they put out some fantastic music - the akufen reco is
great - relatted to mille plateaux which is named after the
deluze and gutarr book - they're the guys who bought glitch
into the techno dictionary - and have released loads of that
us minimal music - however i've found their stuff to be
incosistent in quality - another good one i heard was ozy 's
album

Afuken's My Way is pretty darn good.

i haven't bought it yewt but i got some of the singles -
djing with iti is great - ti breaks up the previous track
because it's so smashed itself - it's a really clever
gimmick using all those tiny samples to create sort of
melody - the beats are good as well

I believe Glitch & Minimal is the "wave" of the future. The
music itself is the pure essence of sound & rythem, and
ignores all the cheesy elements like Melodies....or maybe
not....just my insane rant for today.....

i think glitch and minimal are pretty much finished - it's
kinda gone up it's own arse a bit - too muxch of that stuff
sounds lie listening to the fridge i don't think anything
is the future really cos everything splinters up - i kind of
like melodies anyway ..
however electroclash is kinda popular right now cos it
sounds nostalgic and there are proper songs and attitude -
there's a saying that goes - everthing changes but the avant
guarde - i can kind of see what they mean ...

Yeah, its probably just a FAD, and soon people want to
listen to music with more "Meat" on it. But anywayz I like
it, and Im sure, this genre has the chance to develope even
further...

Anywayz here a few records I recommand, all excelent IMHO :

Dan Abrams - Stream
Twerk - Now Im rendered useless
Montreal Smoked meat
Mikael Stavostrand - Reduce
Farben - Textstar
Clicks & Cuts 2 !

good stuff, nice label...
so far I have Sutehk - "periods.make.sense" (wich is ambient
techno, very good)

Jake mandell "quondam current" (very good too !)

I'm not sure but Force inc is a sub-division of
mille-plateaux)
