I can't decide of I like Coat or Stills better, I really
need to get the vinyl, I'm still mp3ing it...

coat

in fact i'm going to buy it tomorrow because of this track
i've been listening to it for a while and its the first
plaid release i've really liked

i think coat needs a remix, especially using the beginning
quiet section, that would be bloody marvelous

so far, yes
i guess thats the brilliance of p-brane, something for
everyone whilst at the same time introducing new elements
into the music taste of people
either that or music brainwashing

P-brane is amazing! I love that ep. I don't think i've ever
listened to such a short cd so many times :-)

If it would have been released sooner, i would have said
that Plaid was a much bigger influence on Radiohead's
idm-ish sound than autechre and aphex twin.

The song "coat" somehow reminds me very much of the whole
Kid A-album... (which is a compliment :-) It's my favoutie
track on the ep).

"Stills" sounds sort of magical and enchanted... fairy-tale
like. That's what i always have to think of anyway... it
would fit very well as the backgroundmusic for an enchanted
forrest where fairies live :-)

Mfaus is also an incredible song... no matter how many times
i hear it, this song always manages to surprise me. The way
the melody is born out of the rhythm like that is very
ingenious... and damn catchy :-) I'm always humming it...
dum... dum dum... dum dum DUM dum... ;-)

diddymousedid is my least favourite... still a nice song,
but not as wonderful as the others.

P-Brane was the first Plaid release that I really really
liked, it's led me onto all their others and now I can't
stop listening to Double Figure... I'm not that keen on Rest
Proof Clockwork but I just got Not For Threes (finally!) and
I'll be caning that today. I have Trainer and Bytes by the
Black Dog too but I'm not too sure about those two...
