i, like many of you, write alot of my own music.

i was just wondering... does anyone here perfrom anywhere?
or have any of their stuff released in anyway?

i go to a music school... and everyone is always getting
gigs for jazz and shit, but no one is really into electronic
music. It bothers me.

id like to play for people.

yes, in fact i had a gig this past tuesday @ a little city
park inside this super small, yet really intimate building
:) i have only performed 2 other times :) i will be
attending my local university and will be a music
composition major!

does your college radio station ever play electronic music?
if not, you should go & be like, "HEY, i need a job... i
would love to fill in for people late at night!" and then go
and play A butt load of electronica + your own :)

that's just an idea, i suppose, but it does work.

oh yeah... the only stuff that is released is stuff that i
personally give to someone or something that i have posted
on my website... which someone needs to have

sorry, went to go eat

uh. well i got to the Berklee College Of Music... but we
dont have a radio station. People rather be playing music
live then playing records.

Im also majoring in Compostion. well, im doing a duel major
in compostion and synthesis.

ill be starting my first synth classes this fall, so
hopefully ill meet more people that are into electronic
music, and maybe we can make some stuff happen.

ive played 3 times. once at a talent show in highschool...
almost 3 years ago, and at 2 other school events (again,
highschool).

as far as releasing stuff, ill make a cd for anyone who
asks. i actually sold some stuff at one point.

this guy was like "dude i have to have one of your cds. how
much? and i was like... um 5 bucks. hehe i would have given
it to him for free, but it was just too cool that someone
wanted to pay me for my stuff.

i plan on getting a website up sometime soon... so ill let
you guys know when i do.

I've played with my band (rock) twice, but neither was a
paying gig, hehe. The first was some Amnesty International
fundraiser a high school was doing. The second was at the
same high school after some activity and we just jammed for
45 minutes or an hour. It was very fun.

I havent played my electronic songs for more than 5 people
at one time, but I have been in a hardcore/punk band a few
years ago, I still liked AFX then, just not as much. I
played tons of gigs and even our city wides punkfest 99'.
That was our last show. The most people ive played in front
of is about 350 at this one show we did. I loved playing
infront of people, it was amazing. One of the greatest
feelings in the world.

beat it! grrr)
playing in my school orchestra and school jazz band, and a
local "music society" orchestra. That's about it!

i have played with my band
The Leaving Projekt
about half a dozen times in the last few months.
we independantly released a CD a few months back and have
sold a whole 50+copies at our gigs! [he hehe]

i play guitar and bass for a house producer Noel Nanton, who
just released his first full length album on Honchos Records
in the UK.
i play on most of the tracks and am just headed to the CD
release party right now.
it's received a bunch of 4 star reviews so far, that rave
about my wanking!

my electronic stuff has been played on a few radio stations,
includignthe CBC, our national one.
i was into a station a few months back for an interview
too!
hear it here
go to march 11 and it's exactly one hour in, and is then
followed with the house music i play on.
here's the link to my site
knell.ca
for those of you who have not seen it.

good luck everyone!

Zeus and hercules rocking on stage would be almost as good
as Timmy and the lords of the underworld.
I wouldn't like to play live, I would rather dislike it. And
I havn't tried to make any official release.
