Chemical Brothers has many many songs that you can't find on the albums.....search for the DJ Mix Album "Chemical Reaction" or on the net.....they have really many songs...many mixes .... |

it's a good song. nissan also used it in a commercial for the maxima. rob d. doesn't put out albums though does he? because i haven't been able to find any. |

That tune (Clubbed to Death) came out on Mo-Wax in the UK around 1995 and just refuses to die. . . I'm sure it must be due for a full reissue soon. As far as I know, he never did anything else . . . It must have been a one-off stroke of genius followed by chronic writer's block. |

I know that song as well, and I agree with you: the song is excellent. It's been on my playlist without fail since the day that I first heard it. I've been wondering why I couldn't find anything else by the guy, thanks for clearing that up, at least a bit. |

yeah, this song really hits the spot, especially in the middle, when phlanged-phaced drums kick in again :) is it just me or is the drumloop from clubbed to death the same as in poison by prodigy? (correct me if I'm totally wrong, I haven't heard both songs in ages ;) |

I have both Clubbed to Death #1 and Clubbed to Death #2 on 12" on the original mo wax issue limited to 1000 of each. Probably my favourite piece of music ever. |

I have another 12" by Rob Dougan which is truly appalling. The vocals sound like Chris Rea. But even that doesn't save it. |

None of his other stuff is anywhere near as good as CTD (he he- another song with "CTD" as the acronym). Clubbed to Death is great though. He even successfully imitates the style of Elgar in the intro. I'm playing the Kurayamino mix of this when I'm DJing tonight. |
