was your experiences with this equipment? i've got a S2000
sampler ..upgraded with 32mb ram..does somebody use a s2000
got expansion board...SCSI with MESA? or others
products....cuz i dunno the other products like roland or to master....harder or easy ?

Chimp Systems from Appy Arrd Korr on 2001-07-10 13:18 [#00013761]

I've got a Roland digital 8-track, the 880 with a zip-drive,
and its a piece of piss to use and has really mad powerful
effects . . . I'd recommend it to anyone. I love it. I might
marry it.

map[warp/rephlex-aholic] from CH - Mulligan on 2001-07-10 13:22 [#00013763]

yeah i did hear much about the 880.....but expensive no? i
dunno but intern AKAI efx sucks expensive & no
power..,..i bought virtualizer & modulizer from
behringer...Aphex Auralexciter c3 will come (big bottom)
must hear !!!

Chimp Systems from Appy Arrd Korr on 2001-07-10 13:27 [#00013764]

Yeah it was a bit expensive (£1000), but I'd just come into
a bit of money . . . Besides if all your other equipment is
a bit crap (like mine), a good digital 8 track and powerful
effects unit can make it all sound like top kit, so its a
saving in the long run blah blah blah . . . You be able to
pick them up second hand now for pretty cheap.

map[warp/rephlex-aholic] from CH - Mulligan on 2001-07-10 13:35 [#00013765]

yes but i'm from switzerland....the peoples here likes only
trance and house......they got'nt taste for you
can't find good second hand equipment....only
software.....if you want must purchase new
stuff....that is that what i hate here in this pony-style
country..... i never was at London....but i will go there

Chimp Systems from Appy Arrd Korr on 2001-07-10 13:43 [#00013768]

Fuck no, don't come to London. I'm there as we type. It is
hell on earth, and a very expensive hell at that. I'd
recommend Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham . . . Any
major UK city over London. Steer well clear mate. . .

I'm sure the attacks from loyal Londoners are but seconds
away . . .

rubbish john on 2001-07-10 13:49 [#00013771]

i like london. it's where i live and i firmly believe that
it has alot to offer.
on the other hand, it does smell.

map[warp/rephlex-aholic] from CH - Mulligan on 2001-07-10 13:52 [#00013772]

oh london so terrible....? i mean....terror?g' humm
how about Cornwall ? i think this a very nice place to enjoy
rich's music......or perhaps irland or so....i dunno i won't
live here at the rest of my live.....anything sucks
here....the peoples...the police & the regulates....i think
the peoples in the UK are very funny....not so serious and
dump like switzerland and germany peoples...
sorry for my english....but i work at grammatics(?)..bad i

Chimp Systems from Appy Arrd Korr on 2001-07-10 13:54 [#00013773]

London's okay for a visit, but after a couple of days you
want to kill everyone . . . Cornwall's lush, as is Ireland.
Bath is worth a visit as well if you make it here. God, I
sound like the Tourist Board.

map[warp/rephlex-aholic] from CH - Mulligan on 2001-07-10 13:58 [#00013774]

whats the matter with peoples ...are they angry or so ? i
can't understand y d'you want kill everyone.....? humm i
must see it self....but all these good
artist...sqrpshr,cylob...kosmik Kommando...they are all from
the same weird...

dirty little bitch on 2001-07-10 14:01 [#00013776]

being stuck on the london underground nurtures an
overwhelming need to kill anyone and everyone.

Wizards Teeth on 2001-07-10 14:21 [#00013783]

I have met a few cockney wankers who I think are right arse

They also loved the queen and jeremy clarkson

rubbish john on 2001-07-10 14:26 [#00013786]

yeah and what about it magic dentures??
what's wrong with being from london?
i seem to remember you saying that you are a geordie., i may be wrong, but aren't ALL geordies stupid
this is just a question and NOT a statement of my firm

Chrispy from the UK Plains of Noise on 2001-07-10 14:27 [#00013787]

I think London's New York; the sort of place people love to
visit but wouldn't want to live there. Bath is good. Bristol
is ace though, as long as you go to the nice parts. Some
parts are as rough as f*@k

Chimp Systems from Appy Arrd Korr on 2001-07-10 14:35 [#00013790]

Fuck me, I used to live in St Pauls in Bristol, on the
Frontline. . . Gentle Jesus its ruff. I've lived in Moss
Side, Manchester, and even that wasn't as scary as St Paul.

Chrispy from the UK Plains of Noise on 2001-07-10 14:36 [#00013791]

That would be what I was talking about! :) Mate, there's
nothing quite like it is there.

Chimp Systems from Appy Arrd Korr on 2001-07-10 14:43 [#00013793]

It's no exaggeration to say it's how I imagined the Bronx or
some other fucked up U.S. ghetto to be like . . . Pure evil,
drug raids every night, police hiding in hedges everywhere,
people hassling you every time you leave the house . . . I
would recommend it to anyone.

Wizards Teeth on 2001-07-10 15:00 [#00013799]

Monsoir John,

I don't believe I said that there was anything wrong with
being a being from London.

I simply said that I have met a few cockney wankers. I have
met some other wankers, but most wankers I have met have
been cockneys / cockheads.

I am a Geordie, not all Geordies are stupid cunts.

I once ran into a wire fence whilst pissed in Spain running
away from security guards who threatened to shoot us after
pulling moonies and smacking eachother on the arse with a
road sign. I ran into the fence and bounced off "Tom and
Jerry" style. I woke up and I had the shape of the fence
imprinted onto my face.

Hence - I am sometimes a stupid cunt. (Only after drinking

Chimp Systems from Appy Arrd Korr on 2001-07-10 15:07 [#00013802]

Thats the funniest thing I ever heard . . . ahahahaaaaa

Chimp Systems from Appy Arrd Korr on 2001-07-10 15:11 [#00013804]

It's kind of drifted off the subject of Akai hasn't it? Ah
well, phukit.

map[warp/rephlex-aholic] from CH - Mulligan on 2001-07-10 15:21 [#00013805]

hrhr dunno, nobody makes music here?

rubbish john on 2001-07-10 15:24 [#00013807]

wizard - oh.... oh, alright.

hevquip from an egren's coffee shop on 2001-07-10 16:19 [#00013823]

i've begun to make music. i need more equipment though. i've
been wanting to get an akai sampler though, either an s1000
or s2000, depends on how much funds i have. i'd also like to
get an akai ax-60 with a polyphony of six. the ax-80 came
after with eight polyphony, but it hardly has any slider or
knobs if any, unlike the ax-60 with twiddly stuff for
everything about.
