So, can I just install it into my computer and turn the
thing on, then format? Or should I format the drive first,
then install it.

I am in the midst of camabalizing an older computer, and I
kinda want to know before I fuck everything up.

Put your hard drive in, make sure it's either a slave to
either the primary or secondary ide whatsits (your main HD
should be primary master and CD/CDR/CDRW/DVD/DVDR/etcetcetc
should be secondary master)

Then partition it to your hearts content with FDISK or
something, then
format it.

Then use it and abuse it by storing hoardes of porn on it.

Then, once you've woken up, tell me why my promo CD of DMX
Krew's Nu Romantix has the entire album on the disc twice.
