nothing, and before she did this she was on the board for about 3 months as a normal user and a creator of some music people enjoyed. really it was the people here who overreacted to her prank that caused the problem, not her prank in itself. people DO need to relax and stop flipping out everytime someone plays a little joke on them. this wasn't a kara or (other troll name) who was here solely to cause trouble; this was a real user. i guess the moral to this story is to not play any pranks. |

I disagree. It was constant lying about Rephlex and other things, slandering other members on more than one occasion...if it was a prank it might have been funny to make one thread about it, but not to go on and on... I didn't ban hexagonaldope but I definately support the moderator who did. A joke is one thing, but when someone acts retarded and disrupts the message board on purpose for an extended period of time it's another, imo. It's too bad she/he had to act this way after being cool for a matter of months but regardless I definately don't think that type of shit is what belongs in the Aphex Twin community... |

Yo, as i pointed out when she returned to the MB after an absence, her last posts before her disappearance pointed towards being mentally unbalanced - i think that she was annoyed because people weren't so receptive to her music as they had been before; she was acting erratic, like she was insecure and was attention-seeking. maybe her papa really is some well-respected musician and she had access to good equipment. but 01) her music production wasn't special - her songs were static and dull 02) if she needs to work out her insecurity issues, she should "talk to your analyst, isn't that what they're paid for?" |
