... so I have this friend, and I talk to her on ICQ...
anyways, quite a lot of the time when I'm talking to her,
she just up and leaves... it's kinda like hanging the phone
up on someone... it's fucking rude, and it's gets on my
nerves... so, I brought this up to her one time, and she
gets right defensive and we get into a huge arguement, and
now SHE is mad at ME... damn, that's is so stupid... what
did I do wrong? God I hate girls...

That is rude. People do that to me sometimes on AIM. Very
impersonal and impolite, even if it is on the 'net.

Make sure her computer's not crashing or something
though...maybe she's not doing it on purpose.

maybe she's shy? if you haven't met her in real life, or
never will, then i wouldn't get upset...

well maybe, but I don't think so... but see I do ask her,
but she just gets so defensive rather then giving me a
straight answer...

but that's the thing, we are good friends in real life...
I've known her for years...

maybe she doesn't take the net as seriously as u do? or
maybe she's afraid of getting to close? or maybe there's
somthing up...like she's talking to another guy...

I don't know, but I wish she could just give me a straight
answer... that's all I ask... I'm an understanding person,
but she doesn't tell me what's up, she just gets
defensive... and that just makes me really curious as to
what's going on, and annoys me even more... but anyways,
sorry to bother you all... :)

well see I'm not trying that... we're just friends, but
pretty good friends right... like we hang out every now and
then... so I don't want her to be mad at me right, but
anyways, whatever... :)

hehe, yeah I should!!! I remember I sent her a link to that
"All Your Base Are Belong to Us" thing, and on the page
there was a banner for a porn site or something and she
wrote back "Why the hell are you sending me porn?" or
something like that... :)

Very often in (mostly american) movies when they talk on the
phone they don't say "goodbye" or anything like that , they
just hang up on each other in a mutual understanding.
Why is that ???

well, I don't know... but to leave in the middle of a
conversation, be it over the phone, in person, or on the
net, it's rude...

I mean like without any goodbye, or whatever... to just up
and leave is rude in my opinion...

it's kind of funny how, when your mad at a woman, she can
flip the situation so that she'll be the one that's mad at
you!

women!

I bet someone comes in the room, and she does't want them to
know she talks to you...

and she's not like that...

she's not really into talking over the net I don't think, so
that's probably something to do with it... probably nothing
more then that...

sido, people in movies (especially american) rarely act like
people in real life...its been my (limited) experience that
people tend to say 'bye' or at least 'seeya' before hanging
up...
but then again, i rarely talk on the phone...

now does this girl just sign off right in the middle of
conversations...or is it one of those things where the
conversation trails off and she signs off after a long
mutual silence?
because that happens to me all the time

yeah, me too. the long silence thing.

Silence does that to people...Makes them sign off that is...

on the ol' Ophecks charm, baby, nuh uh. I bet they sit there
all wet and worked up, they ain't loggin' off on ME, boys!

Now if only I wasn't totally inept in real life, hmm.
