they are ok.
most 'guitar music' is fucking shitty and extremely boring though.
let's make music. we need a bassguitar, a vocalist and a guitar. now that's music. we can even use the same three chords in all our material. not like anybody did it before or anything.
lame. and so are you.

I used ot think guitar based music was lame, but thats just because I hadnt discovered the "IDM" of guitar based music :) Groups like the Microphones, Destroyer, You will Know Us By The Trail of Dead... , Wilco, are all amazing.

I have all their records. no, they're not original, but they've got great, songs, arrangements, performances, etc. originality isn't everything, sometimes refinement's quite good.

there isn't anymore orignialality in electronic music than there is in guitar based music. good and orignial music is found in many many genres.
i don't know anything about belle and sebastian except that the cover of an album of theirs features the girls from mum.

Yes. This band has been a revelation for me the last couple days. ''Sleep the Clock Around'' is playing right now, and I want to lick the sound vibrations, the song is that good.
And the sisters from Mum are very very hot! I also want to lick them.
