marlowe here again, reporting live from the window. well, apart from the...indian hand-drums?...i liked the percussion at the beginning...some the instruments chosen sounded a bit cheap tho - you need a copy of Marlowe's Soundfonts ;) - but after the two minute mark, things really started to get going - there was more flow going on, more experimentation with the percussion -- keep working in that vein and your music will continue on it's upward curve! |

i think that's the way to do it - make like a circle of artists who listen to and review each other's works - i try to listen to as many people's as possible - and i have just a shitty modem connection most of the time |

I'm on ISDN, but it's not exactly much faster than a 56k modem and I'm on dial-up so it's a pain in the ass. But it's definitely a good idea to get a few people to review each other's work. I'm all for it because I really like the diversity of the artists who post to this board. |

i have a dissertation on the subject running around my head - maybe i'll post it sometime.... but i am all in favour of a separate page where the musicians can have their link and say when they have new material uploaded! this is a community after all :) |

hey, that song liquid reverie is up now for sure :) it's interesting as it uses a Baroque COmpositional device (inverted canon) :) |

listening to it now... I like the slow buildup. Kind of mysterious-sounding. The choir sounds are great, they support the inverted canon (?) well. I was expecting it to go on a bit longer though. It feels a bit short, but it's very good, nice and relaxing. |
