Give me some gaming recommendations from, let’s say as
early as 2015 to now.

I like tactical strategy, final fantasy is ok, but rpg’s
often end up feeling like a pointless grind after awhile.

Also fuck you and your 5G conspiracy nonsense, Aphex twin.
Get socialized with better aspects of life already.

5g again man? I dunno about aphex but there's only one guy
talking about 5g here and he may or may not have already
posted in this thread *looks around*.

My favorite game in the last few years was Return of the
Obra Dinn. I loved it. I regularly play a diablo inspired
action rpg called Path of Exile, but it's a bit complex to
learn.

I enjoyed the recent Tony Hawk remaster greatly. Disco
Elysium is the best rpg I've recently played. There's no
combat and it oozes atmosphere, and is very, very well
written.

For tactical RPGs I've enjoyed the Disgaea series most, and
they're all on Steam except for D3.

I'm currently playing Detroit Become Human and I think it's
the bee's knees. Good emotional storytelling, great setting,
great characters.

disco elysium (kinda amazed wolfy doesn't think it too
woke)

i only play trackmania. it's fun, but requires way too much
dedication

other stuff is have is older, because i actually don't play
pretty much as all:
fall out new vegas
binding of isaac
and i liked batman arkham asylum (but that's from 2009)

eh english country tune is from 2011 but it's a beautiful
beautiful game and you should play it

more:
outer wilds
hypnospace outlaw
opus magnum
final fantasy vii remake intergrade

those are all extremely high quality games that i am not
recommanding lightly except the final fantasy one that i put
in there to be funny (but i do think it's great) and armored
core 6 i've only played the beginning of but it's very neat
i love armored core

re: big- "disco elysium (kinda amazed wolfy doesn't think it
too woke)"

I didn't find it woke at all. The game let me play as an
obstinate, good natured libertarian who had a strong
affinity for cryptids. And the narrator ragged on me every
single step of the way, it was genuinely hilarious.

Disco was never preachy, never found any forced feminism
(obvious writer forces in obvious girl power), nor any
forced diversity (way, way less annoying than forced
feminism but still takes me out of anything). These are my
hallmarks for woke writing. Shoehorned in self righteous
bullshit.

Instead you play a broken man in a broken world. Nobody has
time for woke when you're downtrodden and destitute from
repeated wars. The devs may lean towards Marxism, but they
don't shy away from what it looks like when it fails (as it
always has). Or what it looks like when capitalism fails
(which we're heading towards now in the west, perhaps). The
world is the product of repeated, collective failures, and
no one has time for any bullshit self aggrandizing dogma.
It's really well written in this way.

There were some options related to racial discussion, but my
character wasn't interested and didn't engage. My lack of
engagement was called out by the game, but it was always
done so naturally. One of these days I'll do a communist
playthrough and a racist right playthrough-- though I can't
imagine being mean to your partner (Kim). He was so
practical and easy going, I really liked him.

As an aside my favorite thing about the game was this
nebulous "Pale," a physical void that was slowly creeping
into people's minds and into the fabric of reality. That's
my shit, yo.

Also I mentioned in the last disco thread

but from the OST: Red Rock Riviera (Day) 3 is an achingly beautiful
piece of music. Really captures the ennui of the world.

I love everything about Disco Elysium.

i liked disco elysium a lot and i don't think i'd have liked
it if i hadn't turned off the voice acting

sometimes i'd put it back on to see what i was missing and
it was always a bad actor doing what actors do and the voice
never fit

except kim. kim is great

the scooter guy doesn't even sound anything like scooter

did i say this already? well it bears repeating

As the American model (capital in the driver's seat, the
people in the gas tank) collapses and the Chinese model (the
people in the driver's seat, capital in the gas tank) rises,
the coping and seething is going to be spectacular.

Tony you can't even play video games in China without the
government regulating both the content and the hours you are
allowed to play.

Drivers seat in what, a Dodge Stratus heading for the gulag?
Rim me, motherfucker. I've been drinking again and will take
that Pony tongue.

Here's my impression of you: "you've been fed American
misinformation, China is GREAT for gaming! I know bc I read
it from my GAY, statist Chinese sources! If you contradict
me I say you're brainwashed!"

Lick my ads Tony! And come at me motherfucker, on video
games I will smoke that Lenin loving ass of yours. It's the
only thing I care about.

Communist governments, including China are so retarded that
they literally hire actual titled "ministers of proganda."

"th people in the driver's seat!' Unless they want to elect
someone the state hasn't hand selected otherwise they poison
you in prison!

My wife licked my ass pretty often early on in our
relationship. Hand to god. Then she learned how much I
farted and my ass wad REALLY all about.

Of course it isn't communist. Yet. China is governed by a
revolutionary dictatorship of the proletariat in a period of
socialist construction that aims at full communism within
decades.

Anarcho-bimbos think they can just hit the communism button
and have an instant utopia, irrespective of internal or
external conditions, and the only reason they haven't done
that is bad ideology. Retards.
