the l0pht was partially supported by sales of dumpster-scavenged goods at the MIT swapfast, which i first attended at the age of nine along with my dad. that there was one band i remember... and i'm only putting it together now, i swear that was them. the two memories are: 1) "Would you like the world's ugliest mousepad? Here, have the world's ugliest mousepad FOR FREE" and i've had that for over 20 years and i finally spilled a mug of tea over it a few weeks ago and i was devastated. because it truly is the world's ugliest mousepad. or was, until the stain made it prettier 2) a year or three later, a disassembled.... what? "oh, it's a microwave magnetron. want to cook some birds mid-air?" at that point dad overheard and was like WE ARE MOVING ON NOW SON so yeah. it would fit. count zero (cDc/l0pht) is actually a major stylistic influence on my writing |
