Just about any political leader or anchorman or people of that ilk make me want to scream. Parasocial relationships are neat. I used to know an old lady who would prop up magazines with celebs on the cover so they could watch TV. She had trouble sleeping at night because the magazine people liked the TV so loud. |

when did The Simpsons jump the shark? it unarguably has ages ago; don't feel there should be any arguments there The Simpsons'z touchstones are hinged on the 90s. smartfones didn't exist. kids still watched cartoons on TV. "oh, they have the internet on computers now" was... would people find that funny now? i don't know. that part of what made the show what it was, though was the sort of groundhog day nature of it. clean slate every episode. stock simpsons reality; conan o'brien giggles and pulls up disasters from the simcity 2000 menu. because people played that back then too then they decided to throw that under the bus, but mostly in a for-ratings way. now the characters have memories and histories and i tune in one day and nelson and bart are on the beach talking about feelings and i haven't watched that fucking shit since. that's about when, in my homer opinion |

Yeah. It’s how he is with patients, always sees the worst in them, which goes with the character as he probably doesn’t trust himself and sees himself as a liar and pretty terrible person. He’s well written. |

The eve of Kutners suicide Taub takes credit for his idea. Not that it caused the outcome but K was looking for a friend and per usual Taub was a cunt. Yes House owns Taub in the most delightful way. I liked kutner, shame the actor wanted to work for the Obama administration. |
