at least thats what a group of reichsbürger had planned.
there have been arrests on this matter earlier. its utterly
bizarre. now they arrested 25 people, some were former
military. i really wonder if these people are for real and
how they could be so far from reality as to think you could
overthrow a government by simply blowing up some electric
grid, storm a federal building and claim some dorks to be in
charge from then on. i mean what are they, twelve? it is so
bizarre that it is actually hard to believe.

just wait for the messiah to bring the righteous of the
germans back to life, including former monarchs!

violence is lame anyway

Its just a lame excuse to be against anything federal. I bet
there is little consent between members apart from anti
vaccine and a few scapegoat schemes.

are they small government anti federalist libertarian
types?

or more like the wiki suggests, deeply nationalist
authortiarans wanting to reinstate the reich?

those would be two deeply incompatible viewpoints

my guess is those people are as different as they come.
sharing mostly their anger on gov decisions affecting their
money.
so far i´ve only heard keywords from 2 people and way
before the pandemic anti vaccers/ anti quarantine folks.
one of which i would guess was partially half anti fed lib
type, but definitely not more. he died before all this. the
other one has nothing to do with those bullshitters. he just
happened to know a few "fun facts" that reichsbürger
nowadays use to fetch their cattle. you know like "your id
card belongs to the state and not to you" and this kind of
stuff. it shows though how unhappy people are susceptible to
be drawn into a conversation that ends with scapegoatism. in
current days that actually is a dangerous scenario.

that is my guess on the herd.
as within the more famous examples, the common ground seems
to be the neglection of the current state with the former
reich that according to them never ended being their
loophole to squat a building and form their own little
bubble of shitkicking. as if they would have had anything to
say when they lived by their past laws. logic is absent
here. my guess is that actually is the prerequisite for
entry. they check if you´re a complete and utter idiot, so
then you will follow any nonsense and are unable to talk
normal to the rest of the world. so no ties to anyone but
the nutters.

Yeah that's probably accurate. Kind of like how the Nigerian
Prince wire-me-money emails contain deliberate mispellings
to ensure they weed out anyone with a reasonable amount of
intelligence, and thus wont waste their time.

it's kind of a meme, i guess.

like -- this grip of twenty-five (25) fascists are all beer
buddies and they get together after work and complain about
jewish people at the beer garden, and they've seen the oath
keepers on TV, storming the capital, then all the fascist
marches in the US. the fascist marches in the US happened
because jan 6 planted the idea: "hey guys, haw! it's on" so
they get their gear together and get on a bus, start driving
to "the government" and... no, turn around and get a bit
drunk first... then, yeah! let's attack "the government!"

then they all get arrested because their a bunch of
half-drunk obvious oafs in camo gear with flab trying to
fight its way through bullet-proof vests [that's how it is
in the US, anyways] and like twenty people have called the
cops by they they get to... yeah, the cops just say, "oh,
duh, i know where they're headed"

so i don't worry about groups of some 25 random idiots. i
worry about people like trump who can unite 25 million of
them. because none of them are smart enough to do much other
than maybe blow a few things up.... which is still awful,
mind you... but, no, it's not like this spontaneous uprising
of idiot clusters is going to accomplish anything lasting.
let them have their tantrum in the sun. jan 6 people going
to jail now, the marchers in the US that imitated them next,
hopefully that concept goes viral as well

it's same as terrorists, i guess: if they had more than a
second-grade education and a burning sense of impotent rage,
they wouldn't be terrorists, right?

since before phishing was even a term, it's been well-known
that the FBI sets up bait operations offering to sell
would-be terrorists bomb parts, simply to coax out whoever
wanted to build bombs, and arrest them. that they've
actually gotten in trouble for entrapment numerous times --
"i wouldn't have built a bomb if the undercover FBI agent
hadn't began putting ideas in my head"

and i always wondered: did they ever try the opposite hand?
like, once they find these people, well, take them aside,
and say, like: why, man, why? what went so wrong here that
you feel this way? and then redirect them to appropriate
counseling. especially when the reason winds up being mental
health, rather than impotent rage -- because those are the
small handful that are potential ted kaczynskis, instead
of...

...instead of people who, well... once they were inside
congress on Jan 6, many of them thought it was utterly
hilarious to pee on the floor; even take a dump. then a
single security guard with balls of steel basically goes
matador, toro, toro, and focuses the mob's attention on him
while slowly backing away... toro, toro, backing away... as
he's leading them up a double flight of stairs... and boom,
they've been steered away from the chambers of congress,
where, well... if they'd caught nancy pelosi, they'd have
done more than pee on her, that's for sure. but they didn't,
because they a drunken mob, who, despite having some vague
sense of tactics, enough to get in, they've no clue what to
do after except poop on the floor. all they accomplished was
trampling a couple poor cops to death, and cops are supposed
to be their buddies? terrible showing; terrible math

in a way its a blessing this group is so far off they wont
form a political danger in itself. plus they are more likely
to get righties into non voters. id rather have these people
dont fuck up their lives and not being derailed though.
germany has a known history in messing up undercover,
building up neo fascist networks. even ran on the public
programme.

flab trying to fight its way through bullet-proof vests. i
was just thinking, this is definitely one of my better
lines. really captures it. but, also, just to be clear that
i am absolutely fair to everyone, even fascists -- i suspect
the german ones actually go to the gym sometimes

inst libertarism a facade for far right ideologies?

at least here it works like that, the harbingers of liberty
are the same guys who would enslave you if they could. the
only freedom they strive for its the markets, they work for
reach people trying to pay less taxes and make more money by
any means

That's right.

"Classical liberalism" had two elements, the economic and
the political, that turned out to be incompatible. The
freedom for capital to do as it pleases is countered by the
political freedom of the people to curtail capital's abuses
in its own interest.

Though capital loves to wear the trappings of political
freedom, it turns out the only freedom it cares about in the
end is the freedom to economically enslave the masses
through resource monopolization, wage slavery and rent
extraction.

How China Got Rich

Short answer: Deng's market reforms functioned as a
contained engine of economic growth without putting capital
in the driver's seat.
