i was about to fall asleep just now, hypnagogic i believe it was, and i am hearing a song by aphex twin called "bikes" and it's like, "bikes!~`..." then some, oh, 3/4 feedback delay on that and as that fades out you kinda dunt dutchalunch-da deeDe dahDoohDah using an acid bassline buried in c64 sid noises vocoder voice, yes, pitched down an octave or two, multiple copies kind of disharmonic spiraling down with the delay does he take requests |

i'm glad i got up out of bed and wrote this down, because otherwise... i wouldn't have thought of it again, and it'd be gone. but now that i've left a note, here it is, and yes, i can still pull it back, since i've been asked to in time. that, actually, i can kind of... yes, think my brain was cribbing from... but it's not simply that. it's a different beat, more 4/4, and c64 sid bleets and bloots, in fact a lot of this is wrong, maybe it's just i imagined someone saying "duuuul" in the same vocoder voice i hear... well, it's a lot of work to write bikes like that, see above |
