He looks like that weird-looking German comedian who's
popular in the UK

thats funny and interesting. his schtik seems to work well
in all those british comedy shows. he seems funny in this
context, on its own not so much. at least for me

I saw him this year in the Edinburgh Fringe (both passing
him in the street one day and then doing his performance).
What struck me is how kind of middle of the line he is about
Brexit and Covid. Most comedians you'd expect to be firmly
on one side of the fence but he was very much straddling it.
Whether that's a professional choice or a a reflection of
his views I don't know. He was funny though. I can't quite
remember the joke he made about being outside afterwards
wearing a high viz jacket directing cars out of the car park
but at the time it made sense.

I guess cos he is German he doesn't want to appear in the
papers for being one way or the other, probably not worth
the hassle!

He has a really weird accent, it doesn't sound typically
German at all, I can't place it

he's got a bit of a cockney-german accent, must have lived
in london for a while. bit like how bjork sounds like a
cockney pixie

that german comedian guy is fucking unwatchable, and i don't
say this lightly: i physically cannot be in the same room as
a tv with him on
dont mind krauts in general, and everything i've been
unfortunate enough to hear him say has sounded
reasonable,... he just seems like a snivelling worm
