Man, This really bums me out. Alice in Chains is by far one
of my fav bands ever. This upsets me much more than Cobain's
death ever did.
:(
I'm gonna go smoke a bowl now.

Cause of death is still undetermined.. they say "Natural
causes or Overdose" my bet is he OD'd
:(
And Jerry Cantrell had made a comment not to long ago saying
that AIC may put something together being that "we are all
still here" well they are not all here now.. so nope

He was so badly decomposed when they found him they had to
use dental records to indentify him.

how do you know that?

this news depressed me too. alice in chains was one of my
favorite rock bands. they always had my respect. staley had
one of the strongest and most unique voices in rock and
roll. god bless him. btw, i had been crossing my fingers for
a new chains album for years as well.

Rest in peace.

this is a true tragedy......his voice was so amazing....such
passion came through when he sang

it just seems like he could never let go of the drugs that
took over his life and stopped the music....very sad day
indeed =(

"anti-war" and "anit-rasicism" protests turn to riots over
the weekend...

What's been happening in Seattle? There have been riots in
France because Le Pen the Nazi bastard came second in a
round of votes for President. Scary!!!

How big were they in the US. They never got big here. It was
always Pearl Jam, Nirvana or Soundgarden.

I love Mad Season's River of Deceit.

what is really maddening is that everyone knew this would
happen to him. Everyone knows how he died and nobody close
to him stepped in to stop it.

anyway, be careful with your chemicals folks. moderation is
the key.

i'm with all of you i was hoping to get another effort from
the boys in AIC but this is worse than the kurt deal i think
on an artistic level AIC's music was far better than
nirvana. and natural causes could have been becuase he had
been so doped up for so long his body just gave out he
didn't have to be on anything or od to die at 34 maybe he
had a bad diet and suffered a heart attack like my friends
dad did when he was 34.

related bands, so I decided to bump this topic. Later all.
