I think we're in danger of rendering the word hipster even more meaningless. A hipster to me is someone who is a charmless cunt who buttons their shirt right up. Beyond that, I don't agonise about what they may or may not do or like or anything. |

The term hipster, as I interpet it, is dynamic and constantly changing, it transcends static trends such as a particular way you style your hair or wear your shirt. It is more based upon what the perceived notions of current "hip things" are, doesn't matter if they're mainstream or npt, so long as they instill within the person a sense of belonging to something and getting credit for "street knowledge". Shaping your opinions and how you react to others based on these notions may or may not make you a hipster. |
