Does anyone know where I can find the english theme music
from ghost in the shell? I need a title. I don't need the
Japanese theme with the women singing.

The animation in the film is far more beautiful; the manga
seemed to me to be more comedic.

I have the GITS OST and I like it a lot. It took too long to
get in the mail but it was a day of celebration when it
arrived.

Aye, after that you'll have to get Neuromancer, that william
gibson's book that kicked the cyberpunk movement off. GITS
and much of other manga/ anime stuff was/is heavily
influenced by gibson.

Shit, that one gets namedropped wherever people talk about
manga/anime stuff. I wish I saw it. Actually, I've seen GITS
only and read only Akira so I'm almost completely ignorant.

No. I've only ever seen about 1/2 of Akira, then got bored.
Wicked animation though.

Really? Bored? I haven't seen it but I've heard it's
excellent. Umm, GITS is mostly shooting/ fighting, so you
won't get bored I hope plus the music kicks ass, ESPECIALLY
htat japanese song.

finely tuned as it is today.

I heard about that rumour about 18 months ago (it also said
that RDJ was to make a soundtrack) but it never got
officially confirmed. I am a little scared what the film
will look like once someone eventually makes it.

not there

hm.. the film company says it wasn't an official site and
that it has no implications on the project. i think it will
be all right.

can't really imagine any other director i know of making
anything but a cheesy neuromancer film. maybe david
fincher..

Ridley Scott sucks his mum's ass. For Black Hawk Down he
should be shot in both kneecaps. Twice.
