i can't find that video of the ancient 'applause machine',
it was filtered noise to sound like an audience all
clapping, such a sad vibe

they used it in shows in the 1950s and it still worked, very
The Caretaker vibe
might go on a Raymond Scott tip

The nurad would have been rikers saxophone in the bizarro
dimension. I would love to hang out in a bar with musicians
playing this thing going from blade runner to ananas
symphonie sipping colorful drinks in neon lights.

Then cure my hangover with the forest ladder

technos axcel in a box with a breath controller, could sound
utterly unearthly
i think vids of these old instruments get us going because
even imagining how new they sounded is pretty mad... just
imagine what it was really like... progress really does
seemed to have stalled in respects.

I can imagine Deckard playing one after a glass of whiskey
for sure, playing the blade runner blues as spinners pass by
in the rain, making that doppler effect sound

will have a google around sounds good, seems like they used
filtered white noise for lots of things early on. snares and
cymbals
